Statement

I request that you refrain from giving an opening speech because:

An artist's biography is a private matter.

The only information I would permit is that I am male.
An artist's educational background is irrelevant, since there is no such thing as formal training to become an artist.
One is either an artist or not. One can only be supported in one's development, nothing more.

Teaching and learning content in the artistic field, like everywhere else,
consists of generalizations that ultimately stand in direct contrary to art's claim to originality.
Art is the particular, not the general.

Since my work is a visible art form,
I consider all verbal evaluations to be limited, at worst, a treacherous form of patronizing the viewer.

The goal of all art in the public sphere can only be its symbiosis with people, and therefore I explain the exhibition with the question:

What would beauty be without feeling people?

for opened.
